Less than ten percent of Germany’s population was actively involved in the Nazi party.  Under Nazi rule, over eleven million people were killed in death camps.  Six million were Jews.  In his book, How Do You Kill 11 Million People?, Andy Andrews documents some of the other victims: gypsies, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christians who opposed the government, union members, Democrats, Freemasons, “political nonconformists”, someone lacking documentation, homosexuals and thieves.

Governments, by their nature, become self-serving and destructive if citizens are not involved.  Thomas Jefferson warned: "If once [the people] become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves.”  Thomas Paine believed: “It is the duty of the Patriot to protect his country from its government.”   

Our Founders were passionate about Freedom and believed every citizen had a role in preserving our Republic.  An election is next month.  Vote.
