Local Zumba Instructors Host “Party in Pink Zumbathon” Charity Event
Fitness Event will raise funds for Breast Cancer Research

The ladies of Shake and Move Fitness in Marshall, Texas, will be hosting a “Party in Pink Zumbathon” charity event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Shannon Johnson, Amy Paige, Mweni Ekpo and Malissa Watkins—all licensed Zumba Fitness instructors—proudly invite the East Texas community to join the Zumba Fitness movement in finding a cure for breast cancer. The instructors will hold a special Zumba Fitness class as part of the Zumba Fitness organization’s annual worldwide campaign to raise funds for breast cancer research. The local event will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at East Texas Baptist University (One Tiger Drive; Marshall, Texas 75670). Specifically, the event will take place in Dean Healthplex – Keys Gymansium on ETBU’s campus and is open to the extended East Texas community. Admission is $10.00 per person at the door.
Participants are encouraged to bring bottled water, sweat towels, and a desire to have a good time for a great cause. Participants are also asked to wear pink to the event in honor of the occasion.
