Want to learn to make something beautiful with your own hands?
There’s a brand new workshop at the Museum of the Red River for that!
Needle Tatting with Fabric Artist, Charlotte Wheat
Saturday, September 15, from 10am-2pm
Charlotte has been a fiber artist for almost fifty years and she will be instructing any interested adults and children in needle tatting: the art of creating a piece of durable lace through the looping of string and tying of knots with the use of a small needle.
The cost of the workshop is $40, and all the materials you need are included.
If you are interested please call the Museum at (580)286-3616 BEFORE THE 5TH OF SEPTEMBER to pre-register so that Ms. Wheat will know how many materials to bring.
