An Ore City woman was one of two people killed in a one-vehicle wreck near Harleton Tuesday.

According to a Department of Public Safety report, Michael Wayne Stark, 51, of Harleton and Lindsay Brasher Bonnette, 26, of Ore City were northbound on FM 2208 in a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette, when Stark, the driver, lost control and the car rolled end over end several times.

The accident occurred at about 6 p.m.

According to the DPS, the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed.

The DPS report said the car went off the right side of the road, and Stark overcorrected and ran into the ditch on the left side.

The vehicle then hit a tree.

Stark and Mrs. Bonnette were pronounced dead at the scene.

The DPS said they were wearing seat belts.

Services for Mrs. Bonnette are today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in Gilmer.
