Upshur County Commissioners Court meets the 15th and last day of each month at 9 a.m. at the old District Courtroom in the Upshur County Courthouse.

Just wondering if you are going to fix the roads in the county or not? It is a simple request. Being since as commissioners it is your JOB TO SEE THAT THE ROADS ARE REPAIRED OR RE WORKED WHEN THERE IS A NEED!

Throwing a few shovel fulls of oil dirt in a reoccurring holes is not, I REPEAT NOT! FIXING the problems. If anything, it is making the roads worse. Causing excessive wear and tear on every ones car, truck suv,, etc,, that drives down these POORLY, maintained roads.

I mean it has gotten to the point that the road I live on, it takes 13 minutes to travel 2.8 miles. Yes, unless I want to tear the front end out from under our new car!

Just wondering, if a law suit should be filed or not,, against a county that one taxes people more, and gives less service, two allows the appraisal district to up appraisal values when the roads stay the same, and increase your tax rate.. and you get nothing in return, because they failed to do their jobs. Just wondering...

But again this county has always been corrupt, They have just made it seem all legal now! They are like washington dc. Talk and talk but nothing gets done. Unless it benefits them.

Damn It , Boy.. In 7 days, it will have been two months,, AGAIN NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. ZERO! But as usual, the same crutches of excuses are resurfacing.

The school click, the city click and the county click are still enforce.. And that is so damn sad. No parts on hand to fix water pumps, raise school taxes for more click personnel, and they rob money from the bridge and road department, because lack of leadership..

Just stating the facts!
