Gilmer National Bank and MGP Solutions, announced today the launch of the new Gilmer Buckeye Football website and mobile website. Thanks to the software developed by MGP Solutions, Gilmer fans now can obtain the same information on the go via their Smartphone that was previously only accessible on their computer.

The new Gilmer Buckeye football website will offer a mobile device enabled version of the main website with all the same information and functionality Buckeye fans are accustomed to. When fans go to the website, they will find useful, up-to-date information on their beloved Buckeyes in the palm of their hand via their Smartphone including the latest news and scores, player rosters and coaches bios, schedules complete with GPS capabilities to all games, photo galleries, coupons for business sponsors, the Jeff Traylor Show and more.  The site is still being updated on a daily basis with new information.

Working towards creating a user-friendly interface that adapts to the different Smartphones on the market, Buckeye Football, Gilmer National Bank and MGP Solutions remain steadfast to their goal in this product: creating the ultimate solutions package for Buckeye fans.

“This is exciting not only because we are the first school in East Texas to bring this technology to a football program, but also because this allows football fans across the state and nation to follow us on a day to day basis.  This also will allow college recruiters to get up to date information on our players and program,” said, Jeff Traylor, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.  “Gilmer National Bank has always been a great partner with Gilmer ISD and they exemplify everything that Buckeye Football stands for.  We are excited about joining them in this unique endeavor.”

Football fans can now use their Smartphone internet access to go directly to to use the new site (save to your homescreen to create an APP for this program) and they may also go to from their desktop computer to access the same information from their home or office.  The site is tied into twitter and facebook for instant game updates as well.

For fans that use a Blackberry – it works for Blackberries with a touch screen only. If you have a blackberry that still uses the mousepad, it is older technology and therefore is not going to work with our software.  However, you can still access the site from a destktop.

Parents or community members interested in placing a personalized message for a varsity football player, or who are interested in placing a coupon on the site may contact Brian Bowman at for more information.  There will be a $50 fee to support the player and program via the personalized message (you can place the same ad that is going in the program) and a $100 fee for a coupon for a local business.
