GHS golf team places second in District 15-3A

GILMER HIGH SCHOOL boys’ golf team is shown here after the Buckeyes received the 2nd place District 15-3A trophy on April 9. Pictured are Zac York, Caleb Tillery, Colton Shaver, Caleb Conine and Patrick Courson. Wood Hollow Golf Club in Longview hosted the district tournament. Spring Hill won with a 586 total followed by Gilmer with 683 and Sabine 685. The Buckeyes played in the Region Il tournament on Monday and Tuesday (April 21-22) at the Tanglewood Golf Resort in Pottsboro.
