THE NEW HOPE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY Knights varsity boys basketball team won their league championship at the Arklatex Christian Athletic Association tournament on Thursday, March 4. The tournament was played at the Shreveport Christian Academy in Shreveport, La. The Knights had to defeat the Lousiana School of Math, Science and the Arts in back-to-back games for the championship. The final score was 72-64. Senior Blake Pierce was picked as MVP, scoring an average of 15 points per game.
