Big cabbage

OTHA SMITH GREW this 60-pound cabbage in her flower bed in the Stamps Community. She said it is a hybrid. She has another hybrid that reached 20 pounds. “I’ve grown a lot of cabbages in my time,” she said, “but never one this big.” Despite the size, she said it still has a good flavor. She said that she planned to get some ham hocks and cook it.
