As candidates gear up for the final push to the November general election, voters should find out where their candidates stand on the important issues facing our state. Interestingly, in Texas and across the nation, one issue continues to bridge any partisan divide…lawsuit abuse.

As someone who talks to small business owners on a regular basis, it’s no surprise to me that a recent national survey by the American Tort Reform Association and the Sick of Lawsuits campaign found that an overwhelming majority (89 percent) of Americans agree that lawsuit abuse is a problem in this country.

The concern over lawsuit abuse cuts across partisan lines. And, as the November election approaches, nearly three-quarters of the survey’s respondents said they are more likely to support a candidate who favors reforms to reduce abusive lawsuits.

It’s our turn now to ensure we know where our candidates stand on this important issue. Ask.

There has always been Lawsuit Abuse.. YOU KNOW WHY.. Just as the lawers... They Love It! They are blood suckers... And will screw people out of 40 % of the money plus so called paper work fees, phone calls ect so most of the time they get 60% of the funds...

Then You have a Congress, and a Supreme Court that lets crap go... and now you have the run away lawsuits...

The sad part is.. the fda fines companies and get their money for a bad drug that they approved in the first place... while the person or family that is affected by this drug.. get's left with giving some crooked law firm 60% of some bullsh*t settlement...

Plus you have the kick backs, campain support not to metion the lobbiest... So, you think some thing is going to get done...

Really.. the only way that will happen is to hold the government responsable for their actions... run the lifers out of office...

Just like the one that runs the commissioners court in upshur county... Judge my but*.. Just another one of them so called Lawers... they are every where.. Gilmer is full of them...

Jmhop....
