This year’s Big Sandy Museum Association’s annual fund-raising banquet will consist of a choice of barbecued chicken or beef from Big Sandy’s Longhorn Smokehouse.

The dinner will include all the trimmings, dessert and drinks. There will also be dinner music furnished by guitarist Roger Daniels and his son, violinist Cody Daniels, both of Big Sandy. Also vocalist Mark Worthen of Big Sandy will make his public debut.

Dorotha Willis, vice president of the Museum Association, says, “This evening of food, music and fun will conclude with a cake auction featuring delicious creations by some of our best bakers.”

She urges “all to not miss this outstanding evening and to bring your family and friends and share this fun benefit with us.”

The banquet will begin at 7 p.m. at the Church of God Big Sandy’s auditorium on West Highway 80, Big Sandy.

Tickets are $10 at the door or, for a table of eight, only $70. Children under 12 are free.

For reserve tickets or more information, visit First National Bank, Big Sandy, or Austin Bank, Big Sandy. Or call Mary Lingle at (903) 636-4344.
