WINONA - Tribute Quartet, previous winners of the Horizon Group Award at the Singing News Fan Awards, will be appearing in concert at First Baptist Church of Winona. The event will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm. Also appearing will be The Watson Family of Winona. The public is invited.
Widely recognized as one of the outstanding young quartets in America, Tribute Quartet appears regularly on gospel music's largest stages as well as churches of all sizes. Their commitment to quality southern gospel quartet music, to presenting it the right way, and for the right reason, is what sets them apart as a group on the rise.

Formed in 2006, Tribute features two original members and two relative newcomers, though this current group has been together for several years. Group co-founders are Gary Casto, who sings lead and does the emcee work for the group, and Josh Singletary, who sings baritone and plays piano. Joining the duo on stage are tenor singer Riley Hamilton Clark and bass singer Anthony Davis.
Together, this group has seven recordings to their credit. In recent days, they have become well-known for their radio singles entitled "Homecoming Day", "Good News from Jerusalem", and "Bring on the Joy".
First Baptist Church Pastor Tony Watson says he is excited about hosting this great evening with Tribute Quartet. "This is a group we have had our eye on for several years. We are always looking for those groups who do things well and do them the right way. This group has that kind of reputation and has recorded some fantastic songs. I know lovers of quartet singing as well as lovers of any kind of gospel music will love Tribute Quartet," said Watson.
Joining Tribute Quartet on the program will be The Watson Family of First Baptist Church of Winona. The group is made up of Pastor Tony Watson, his wife Rhonda, and their daughters Krista and Kylee. They will also be joined by Krista's boyfriend Zach Kennedy of Selmer, Tennessee.
"We don't get to sing together as often as we would like, due to Krista being in college in Tennessee, so we always look forward to these times when we can," remarked Watson.
Admission will be free for the concert, and a love offering received. For more information, contact First Baptist Church of Winona at 903-877-3273 or by e-mail at
