Seven Regions Compete for $50,000 in Prizes from MyPlates.com

October 21, 2013 (Austin, TX) – We’re pleased to announce the regional finalists in The My Plates Coach of the Year Contest:

We created the contest to honor the best youth coaches in Texas, as determined by Texans!  These men and women are from big cities and small towns.  They coach everything from golf to cheer to lacrosse, and now all are in the running for $50,000 in total prizes to be awarded to their local school or sports organization.

Now the statewide voting begins!  The coach with the most votes in each of the seven regions moves on to the state championship round. Texans have from now until Friday, November 8 to vote for a favorite coach.  Get the word out!  Tell all your friends and family to vote, too, at www.myplates.com/coach.

The public vote will pick 7 regional winners who’ll compete in a statewide vote for one winner who gets $25,000 for his or her team or organization!

The second place prize is $10,000 for the team, and five remaining finalists will receive the Third Place prize of $3,000 for their teams.

That’s a total of $50,000 in prizes for youth organizations in Texas!

The winning coach receives the plate message COACH13 for a ten-year term, valued at $795. Second and Third Place coaches get 5-year personalized license plates from MyPlates.com, valued at $495.

The Grand Prize Winner and My Plates Coach of the Year 2013 will be announced December 9, 2013.
