The Upshur County Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for Upshur County at 9:00 a.m. on August 22, 2018 in a meeting to be held in the County Courtroom, Third Floor, Upshur County Courthouse, 100 Tyler Street, Gilmer, Texas. The proposed budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $97,515 or .9665%, and of that amount $97,515 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
