An Ordinance of the City of East Mountain, Texas, amending Ordinance No. 154 by changing the zoning classification of a tract of land from residential R-1 to Commercial C-1. Whereas, the City of East Mountain, Texas is a Type A general law municipality; and Whereas, a Type A general-law municipality may adopt ordinances for the good of the government, peace or order of the incorporated municipality; and Whereas, the City of East Mountain has adopted a comprehensive zoning ordinance regulating the use and development of land within its boundaries; and Whereas, the appropriate use of property at the intersection of State Highway 300 and FM 3358 is commercial.
