Maybe Fowler can pick up trash on the side of the road for his probation. That would be the most work he has ever accomplished in his life. Hell, I'd pay the press to go out and take pictures for the newspaper. Hell, I would pay for ads to be put in the newspapers of his doing this. What an idea. We can only hope. :)

I've see Fowler in "action" in the court room or rather "lack of." If I were him, I would hire an attorney to represent him also. :) That's the best decision he has ever made in his political career.

How funny an attorney in trouble that clearly does not trust his skill enough to get himself out of legal trouble, so he has to get an attorney to represent him. Makes you think doesn't it?

Well Fowler got himself Todd Tefteller for legal representation....for FREE. Why doesn't Fowler leave office now? He's one of the biggest hypocrites in Upshur County. He smiles to your face and stabs you in the back. He lets his friends off easy and if he does not like you he throws the book at you. He makes a FOOL of himself in the commissioners court and on the news. He's an incompetent. Upshur County wake up. Did you really elect him into office. Everytime I read the paper its like reading a comic strip. Are the people in Gilmer really this stupid?

I agree with Hang Em High only that Billy Byrd is one of the worst examples of those who use his powers to attack those he does not like or agree with. Just another sorry politician!!!!!

Well, I had read a comment posted here on Fowler and then it disappeared. Censureship by the Gilmer Mirror? I hope now, but it sure looks that way. Only in Gilmer would the guilty be protected by the locals because of whom they are in Gilmer versus the law. I think they all should have been arrested and booked in the local jail, but were they? NO! Fowler isn't really anyone in town, just the county judge, but his father in law that sent him to school is well known and Fowler has made friends with the local judge and attorneys through the years. They are all best buddies, so does anyone really think Fowler will get treated like Joe Public would? I don't. I think it will all be swept under the rug, as it has been in the past, unless there is an out of town judge present to hear this case. Everyone that reads the news articles on these individuals needs to forward them to the press to circulate the news and to ensure that justice is served, not Gilmer injustice. It just takes a few minutes so copy and email the press articles to every news source you can find. Ensure justice, not injustice.
