Hope House receives 501(c)3 designation

The No-Kill Shelter, Second Chances Hope House, proposed for Upshur County by a dedicated group, has just received its 501(c)3 designation, meaning that donations are tax deductible.

Donations may be sent to Hope House, P.O. Box 187, Gilmer, TX 75644.

Dr. Cherie Nazzal, Gilmer veterinarian who is one of the people involved in the drive to create Hope House, said “things are moving along well.” Both the fund-raising and networking committees are meeting regularly at Hadden’s Sandwich Shop, on the south side of the square in Gilmer.

The next meeting of the board is Monday at 6 p.m. at Hadden’s, and anyone interested is invited.

Please direct me to a website which lists accurate accounting for how much the directors and administrators get, percentage wise, and how much actually goes toward the charity itself.

I don't trust religious charities any more.

Most are run by greedy jerks who have lavish life styles all in the name of some denomination.

Or, some are actually fraudulent, if not most.

So, what's the website and how can I confirm that it isn't fake?
