The Upshur County Hope House for Pets needs help for its upcoming Cherokee Rose Pet Show, set for Saturday, May 11, from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the Yamboree Park off U.S. 271 N. in Gilmer (just north of Walmart and the Gilmer Civic Center).

“We are in need of people to help staff our upcoming event,” said co-founder Cherie Nazzal, DVM. “We need help with the concession stand, the admissions table, participant registration, and other miscellaneous tasks.”

If you are available, they’d love to have you join them.

“Please let us know if you’re interested in helping,” Dr. Nazzal said.

If you have not yet done so, please complete a volunteer form and send it to them, along with a quick note about how you can help.

For information on how to get a volunteer form or to let them know you will be attending, call 903-843-5524.
