The Gilmer High School Cheerleaders are currently raising funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. This year’s fund raising includes the sale of Gilmer Buckeye Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts, that will be worn by fans to each Buckeye football game during the month of October. 100% of the proceeds of the sale of these shirts goes directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) for the funding of mammograms to those women that do not have insurance coverage or cannot afford to have a mammogram.  In addition, we have setup a page for those who simply wish to donate to the NBCF in the Gilmer Buckeye Cheerleaders honor. That website can be found at:

The KYKX Game of the Week on October 13th, will be dubbed as our “Pink Out” game. We are asking that all Gilmer Buckeye fans wear pink to that game. In addition, we are challenging all from Henderson (our opponent for the October 13th game) to wear their pink as well. We want to “Pink Out” the entire stadium for Breast Cancer Awareness.

KRISTAL MARTIN, President of the 2012-2013 Gilmer High School Cheerleader Booster Club
