The Buckeyes (14-0) came from behind to win Saturday night in Huntsville, led by QB Darian "Stump" Godfrey, who ran for five TDs and threw for another.

Gilmer will now play Abilene Wylie for the Class 3A Division I state championship at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on the Southern Methodist University campus in University Park, a municipality within the city of Dallas.

Gilmer will be the visiting team.

The Bulldogs (12-1) won their game Saturday night in Waco against the Lucas Lovejoy Leopards, 31-27.
