HOUSTON — Award-winning reporter Geraldo Rivera received more than media attention during a recent visit to Houston: he left town with a hefty share of Texas Pride.

After addressing the Greater Houston Partnership at the Hyatt Regency Houston concerning immigration reform, Award-winning reporter Geraldo Rivera was presented with a framed certificate representing ownership of 100 shares of Texas Pride, a highly pedigreed and registered Texas Longhorn Steer that resides at the Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch, located in Round Top, Texas.

Presenters included Greater Houston Partnership CEO Jeff Moseley, Executive Vice President and C.O.O Tracey McDaniel and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. “This is a very unique gift and I’m sure it will be a great reminder of his trip to Texas”, stated Jeff Moseley, President and CEO, Greater Houston Partnership.

Texas Pride co-owner Steven Armour is looking forward to sharing the pride of Texas with other visitors. Armour said, “I hope Mr. Rivera enjoys his gift for years to come. The iconic Texas Longhorn symbolizes the heritage and strength of our great state, and we can’t think of a better way to share our pride. We’re certainly looking forward to future opportunities to send Texas Pride home with visitors through the Greater Houston Partnership. Of course, ownership is open to any individual who’s proud of Texas or wants to give someone a special reminder of their visit to our great state.”
