Free workshop on credit scores set for Oct. 15 in Marshall

 

Kilgore College Small Business Development Center and Marshall Chamber of Commerce will offer a free workshop for entrepreneurs in Marshall called “Tips and Tricks to Improve Your Credit Score.”

 

The class is set for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Marshall Chamber of Commerce, now located in the Visual Arts Center, 208 E. Burleson.

 

“Since the financial collapse of 2009 and other conditions that affect the financial industry, it is important to establish and maintain a good credit score,” said Melanie Northcutt, KCSBDC’s training coordinator.

 

This class will be instructed by KCSBDC business advisor Virgel Connor.
