Thousands of visitors will converge on downtown Pittsburg Saturday, Sept. 18, to enjoy the annual ChickFest parade, carnival and vendor booths. ChickFest is known for its unique vendor booths, carnival food, live music, carnival rides, cooking contests, a biker run, Pittsburg Hot Link eating contest and this years first annual Milano's Pizza & Spaghetti eating contest.

This year, Bunn Flowers & Gifts (formerly Don Reynolds Flowers & Gifts), Cavender’s Western Wear and Hoover’s Jewelry have teamed up to sponsor free vendor booth spaces in their parking lots to anyone wishing to promote their business, sell their products or fund raising. “We know that the economy has been pretty rough on everyone and we just wanted to help anyone wishing to boost their sales or promote their organization at ChickFest with our free booth space offer,” stated William Bunn. Thousands of people will be walking through our parking lots, so what better way to spend your day than promoting your business and products this Sept. 18 for free?

Though their free booth promotion has just started, Bunn Flowers & Gifts, Cavender’s & Hoover’s Jewelry report a high interest from the public in reserving booth spaces and their parking lots are filling up fast with a wide variety of vendor booths. We anticipate this to be one of the best ChickFest celebrations ever with our new vendor area added to the ChickFest celebration, stated David Hoover of Hoover’s Jewelry & Cavender’s Western Wear. “It’s all about helping each other out in this tough economy,” he added.
