Jahruba is an African American born in the badlands of Norman, Oklahoma. A modern day buffalo soldier. He has been a professional musician for more than 50 years and has performed in nearly every venue in the state of Oklahoma. His music embodies a unique blend of blues, jazz, worldbeat, reggae, and traditional African rhythms. Mixed with the red dirt culture of Oklahoma, he has awakened the birth of a new form of music.
