ETBU Names Director of Student Activities
MARSHALL (7/07/14) – East Texas Baptist University Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Xavier Whitaker announces that Sarah Pullin has been selected to serve as Director of Student Activities. Pullin comes to ETBU from Baylor University where for the past two years she has served as a Graduate Apprentice for Student Productions in the Department of Student Activities.
"Sarah brings great passion and energy for holistic student development to this position. We believe the ETBU community will be blessed by her leadership and willingness to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom,” remarked Dr. Whitaker.
Pullin received her Master of Science in Education from Baylor University in Waco. While completing her graduate degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs, she oversaw large scale productions such as After Dark, Pigskin Revue, All-University Sing, and StompFest. She also co-advised the Student Productions Committee.
Dr. Whitaker stated, “The Student Affairs team is thrilled to have Sarah join the ETBU family. We look forward to working together with her to help students develop their God-given potential through engagement in our exceptional programs and activities at ETBU.”
In addition to Pullin’s Graduate Apprentice experiences, she has completed practicums in the Fine Arts Living Learning Community, New Student Programs, and Baylor Missions. She will begin her duties on July 28, 2014.
