When:            Saturday, June 7, 2014       

                       10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Where:          VA North Texas Health Care System


                      4500 S. Lancaster Rd.

                      Dallas, TX 75216

VA North Texas Health Care System together with Texas Veterans Commission and Veterans Land Board will host a free “come and go” Benefits Fair to ensure Veterans are aware of the benefits they are eligible for and have earned.

Representatives will provide information on a wide variety of services to include health care services, screenings, disability and pension claims, land and home loans and state Veterans homes and cemeteries. Texas Veterans who attend can also access up-to-date information about Texas Veteran employment and education benefits.

Educational resources and registration assistance will also be available. Veterans who would like to enroll for VA care should bring their DD214 and ID.

They are pulling out all the stops,, after the news of the miss treatment,, delayed treatment.. and the vets loosing their lives,,,

Just another disgrace.. that has occurred under the bush/obama regimes,,,

They all should be head accountable for the deaths,, and be give same said treatment when the time comes,, at it will,,

For the most part I've had reasonable service but in every organization someone can fall through the cracks. I just wish they could see me without sitting for 2 hours for a scheduled appointment. It's sad that a few deaths were a result. These problems were not related to bush/Obama but the management team that did not have the checks and balances in place to prevent this from happening. The republicans in congress have damaged our political agenda than any bush/Obama. I've worked as an industrial engineer for 30 years and more often than not someone/employee has to get seriously hurt or a victim of death before the management take additional steps for a safer environment. Look at GM. So if you blame B and O, for VA troubles, you might as well blame them for GM and the deaths of the seat belts too.
