Citizens National Bank Commits $30,000.00 to Longview Habitat for Humanity Building Campaign
August 29, 2013 - Longview, TX. ---Brad Tidwell, President and CEO of Citizens National Bank is pleased to announce that the bank has pledged a capital donation to Longview Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $30,000.
Tidwell stated, "Citizens National Bank is deeply rooted in the communities we serve and has been for over 83 years. We are proud to be an integral part of the Longview community and feel it is an honor to give back to such a worthy organization as Habitat for Humanity. The Foundations for the Future Capital Campaign goal is 1,085,000 and includes the purchase of property, the remodel of an existing structure and the construction of a new ReStore. Gifts and pledges to date total $564,000.00.

Longview Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit agency dedicated to eradicating housing poverty in Longview. The organization partners with low income families to provide a hand up and out of poverty through volunteer home construction and a low down payment, zero interest mortgage and a critical home repair program for the elderly and disabled. Founded in 1985, the organization has constructed 82 homes in Longview and is slated to begin construction on a new home on October 19th.
