THREE GILMER BUCKEYES signed letters of intent Wednesday to play college football. Wednesday was National Signing Day. Tyler Junior College signees Xavier Fluellen, left, and Brady English flank Trey Washington, who signed with Southern Methodist University. Seated to their left is Rhonda Fluellen. Other family members and Gilmer High School Athletic Director Jeff Traylor also joined them at their signing ceremony. Standing are, from left, Dakota Fluellen, C.J. Williams, Veronica Johnson, Diamond Fluellen, Daniel Fluellen, Tra Fluellen, Dwight Davis and Barbara Stevenson, flanking Coach Traylor, with LaTresa, Rob and Jon English. These three seniors and the rest of their class were the leaders of a team which went 14-2 and made it to the 2012 3A Division II State Championship Game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
