Brennan’s Chefs to Reunite at Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair



Gallery Furniture Presents “A Family Affair”



Houston, Texas, March 15, 2013 –The 2013 Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair (www.sugarlandwineandfoodaffair.com) is set for April 24 – 28, 2013, marking the tenth year of irresistible food finds, wines, celebrity chefs, mixology and unabashed merriment.  



This year’s line-up of events will kick off on Wednesday, April 24 with the “A Family Affair” all-star seated dinner presented by Gallery Furniture (www.galleryfurniture.com). Renowned current and former chefs from Brennan’s of Houston (www.brennanshouston.com) will prepare a memorable feast – a festive celebration of this milestone birthday – paired with 10 wines featured at previous kick-off dinners.



Four distinguished chefs who have their roots planted in the nationally recognized and award-winning Brennan’s of Houston kitchen will join forces to create an unforgettable dinner, including current executive chef Danny Trace and former chefs Randy Evans of Haven, Mark Holley of former Pesce and Jon Hebert of Houston City Club. The event will also pair 10 premiere vintages, including selections from Sterling Vineyards, Far Niente Winery, Iron Horse Vineyards, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and Frank Family Vineyards among others.



Ticket prices are $175 for an individual ticket; $1,050 for a table of six; $1,400 for a table of eight; and $1,750 for a table of ten.



“A Family Affair” will take place on the historic grounds of Imperial Sugar Factory in the specially constructed Gallery Furniture Pavilion, which will also be the venue for the Sip & Stroll event on Saturday, April 27.



All proceeds from the five-day wine and food affair will support a permanent scholarship endowment at the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
