Courtesy Photo<br> LANDING THIS 70 lb. blue catfish on Jan. 24 is Steve Waller, at left, of the Bettie Community. The catfish was caught at Lake Tawakoni in four feet of water on a 20 lb. test line. The angler got the fish to the boat three times and each time it stripped off 90 to 100 yards of line. It took 35 minutes to land. The fish is 3 lbs. shy of the Lake Tawakoni record for a blue catfish caught on a rod and reel. Shown with Waller is fishing guide David Hanson.
