Austin Bank recently honored Gilmer Location President Scott Haygood for completing five years of service with the company. He was recognized at the bank’s 2009 Service Award Luncheon held Dec. 9 at the Cascades Club of Tyler.
This year’s annual luncheon recognized 45 Austin Bank employees who completed five, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service in 2009. The overall group represents 515 years with Austin Bank.

Haygood joined Austin Bank in February, 2004 as a Credit Analyst.
He also worked in Loan Review and as a Compliance Analyst before his promotion to Gilmer’s Location President. Haygood is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Mobberly Baptist Church.
He graduated from of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science and the University of Texas at Tyler with a Master’s in Business Administration.
