The KYKX Saturday Night Game of the Week raised funds for the scholarships through parking fees, advertising and program sales. Also pictured are Henderson Coach Dickey Meeks at left and Gilmer Coach Jeff Traylor at right along with unidentified relatives of Walton. The ceremony was held before Saturday night's District 16-3A clash between Gilmer and Henderson at Lobo Stadium in Longview.
