TEMPLE, TX (September 17, 2013)—“State Representative George Lavender who represents House District 1,  will be the featured speaker at the Northeast Texas Association of Soil and water Conservation Districts’  (NETASWCDS) meeting September 30, in Mount Pleasant.  The meeting will be held at the La Quinta Inn and Suites,” said David Basinger, President.  “The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with a catered barbecue dinner,” added Basinger.

“Following Rep. Lavender’s talk, the gathering of soil and water conservation district directors will hear updates on state and national soil and water conservation programs and issues from Jerry D.
