Six-in-Ten Say Opposition May Be No Better than Current Government OVERVIEW Broad majorities continue to oppose the U.S. and its allies sending arms and military supplies to anti-government groups in Syria. Last Thursday’s announcement that the U.S. would aid the rebels has not increased public support for action, and majorities of all partisan groups are opposed.

Overall, 70% oppose the U.S. and its allies sending arms and military supplies to anti-government groups in Syria; just 20% favor this. Opinion is little changed from December of last year (24% favor) and support is down slightly from March, 2012 (29% favor).

I agree with you 100%. The guy who wrote this article doesn't know what he is talking about. For the next 10 years the Chinese economy will grow at least 7% year, while the American economy will limp along at a 2-3% range. How is that it is a decline for China? The Chinese economic structural reform towards consumption away from exports and investment will take at least 5-10 years. You just can not start seeing the results in just a few months. The Chinese government is right on course. It knows It must not stimulate the economy at this stage of the game. The STURACTRAL reform will be painful in the short run. But it is the right step for China to take for a long-term sustainable growth. And the Chinese government knows it. The Chinese economic reform has nothing to do with a political reform. The authoritarian Chinese government is doing a lot better than so-called democratic countries in many respects. According to a recent Pew Research Center poll, more than 80% of Chinese support the government. I don't think Pew Research Center is a propaganda arm 0f the Chinese Communist Party. Chinese tend to blame the corrupt local officials not the central government. America is declining fast and it will decline faster, if it does not tackle the entitlement programs by drastic spending cuts. The author seems to be a sour grape engaging in wishful thinking, when it comes to China.
