Challenged Outdoorsmen of America - Northeast Texas Outdoors Chapter based in Longview is hosting a fishing day for special needs children. The event is set for September 26th,2009 at 9am and will end at noon with a hotdog lunch for children and their parents/guardian. As are all COA-NETO events the event will be completely free to the participants. The event will be held at Eatex Fisheries in Ore City.

Children will be required to be supervised by their parent or guardian. The children will be allowed to keep their fish and COA-NETO will clean and package the fish for the children to take home. COA-NETO will have volunteers on hand to help with baiting, casting, and removal of fish if needed.

Sign up is required in advance for the event. Information and signup forms are available by calling Darren Turner at 903-746-3044 or emailing COA-NETO@inbox.com . Further information and (printable) entry/release forms are available at http://www.coa-neto.com/2009-YOUTH-FISH-2.htm

This event is open to the first 20 special needs (physically or intellectually challenged) children ages 4 to 16 at no cost.
